It was a sweltering day and the sun was relentless. There were people all around some with smiles on their faces and others trying to get somewhere, there were lights flashing from the rides and different sounds all around. Seven year old Josh Eidenberg stood in the center of the commotion his small hands wrapped around a camera. He stood as still as he could and pressed the button. Instantly, a moment was captured and a passion was born. Since that day, Josh has loved photography. Josh believes the most magical part of photography is that it captures a moment that can otherwise never be recovered. Josh remembers when the digital camera came out and his dad bought him an Olympus 1.3 megapixel camera with a 5x zoom plus a digital 2x zoom. Wherever Josh went, so did the Olympus. As time went on, Josh’s love for photography grew and his style matured. While as a child he used to like to take family photos or other interesting shots, now he travels the world bringing his camera along with him. Through his current work he hopes to capture moments in time that are unique and beautiful. Every day the sun changes, the clouds move, and the atmosphere fluctuates. These are the aspects that Josh hopes to capture in his photography. Photography is an art because every photo is unique and a one of a kind. It is a snapshot of a moment in time that can otherwise never be recovered. Josh hopes to continue to travel the world and be able to capture life’s beautiful moments.
